AthX Top Pitchers, Hitters & Team Scores (May 1, 2026)

The lead

Friday, May 1, 2026 gave AthX Engine a full 15-game board with blowouts, comebacks, and a pitcher-led night at the top of the team table. The Pittsburgh Pirates climbed to No. 1 with 20 AthX Engine team FP after a 9-1 win over Cincinnati that snapped a five-game skid.

Mitch Keller led pitchers with 25 AthX Engine pitching FP. Kazuma Okamoto led hitters with 15 AthX Engine hitting FP as part of a two-homer night in Minnesota.

Daily fantasy output is not the same thing as share-price movement. AthX markets still run through dynamic pricing, trader demand, and the bigger performance arc.

From the Friday card

  • **Pirates 9, Reds 1:** Mitch Keller and Henry Davis anchored the best team fantasy night on the board.
  • **White Sox 8, Padres 2:** Munetaka Murakami's three-run second-inning homer built a road rout.
  • **Yankees 7, Orioles 2:** Ben Rice and Jose Caballero answered Pete Alonso's return to the Bronx.
  • **Cardinals 7, Dodgers 2:** Jordan Walker and Nolan Gorman powered another Busch Stadium statement.
  • **Blue Jays 7, Twins 3:** Kazuma Okamoto doubled his nightly homer count before the sixth.
  • **Guardians 8, Athletics 5:** Rhys Hoskins and Chase DeLauter outlasted Oakland's early thunder.
  • What stood out

The team leaderboard loved pitching in Pittsburgh, hitting in Chicago's road trip, and star volume from the Yankees and Cardinals on the same number. Keller clearing 25 pitching FP on a 104-pitch masterpiece matched Pittsburgh's need to stop a losing streak. Okamoto and Walker gave Friday two different shapes of hitter ceiling: pull-side power in the AL and line-to-line contact against the defending champs.

Rows six through ten still matter. Julio Rodriguez produced on a losing Mariners night, Brent Rooker surfaced on both sides of a comeback game, and Wheeler plus McClanahan showed how aces can hold the pitcher table even when their recaps did not make the six-game feature cut.

    What now?

May 2 continues weekend series with bullpens stretched and rotations turning over. Keep Keller, Warren, and Misiorowski on one watchlist for swing-and-miss trends, and stack Okamoto, Walker, and DeLauter on another for hitter form.
