AthX Top Pitchers, Hitters & Team Scores (September 19, 2026)

Two homers in Cleveland, a 156th hit in Queens, and a 1-0 in Baltimore

September 19, 2026 was a 15-game Saturday. Angel Martínez came off a five-day absence and homered from both sides. Carson Benge broke the Mets' rookie hits record on a check-swing. Trevor Rogers struck out 10 over eight innings and still lost 1-0.

That is the board: a team table Cleveland owned with 21 FP, a pitcher table Rogers and Brayan Bello shared at 28, and a hitter table that started with Martínez at 18.

9Colorado Rockies105-3Cole Carrigg's two-run single in the seventh (ESPN)
10Los Angeles Angels106-5 (11)Jose Siri hit a two-run homer in the fourth (ESPN)

Cleveland sits first because a 12-6 with two five-run innings fills a team table the way a 1-0 does not. New York is second on a 10-3. Los Angeles is third on 15 hits. Rogers's Orioles finished at minus-2 and still owned a share of the pitcher board. That split is the night.

Rogers at 28 FP is the card, and it came in a 1-0 his offense never cashed. Bello matched him with 11 strikeouts in a 2-1 loss at Tropicana Field. Alvarez threw six scoreless and still needed extras. Gasser won the 1-0 Rogers lost. The ranking is the line. It is not who started, and it is not who won.

Martínez took the hitter board on two homers and a double after five days off. Walton did it in a 12-6 loss. Betts reached five times with three doubles. Acuña's grand slam sat 10th on the same board as Paredes, who had given Houston a 2-0 lead. Noah Schultz's 10.66 FP as a White Sox pitcher was filtered off this table. The hitter board is for bats.

Six featured games from Saturday

  • Guardians 12, Athletics 6: Cleveland led teams at 21 FP. Martínez 18. Two five-run innings after Chicago had already won.
  • Mets 10, Phillies 3: New York at 20 team FP. Benge's 156th hit. Alvarez's three-run shot.
  • Dodgers 10, Giants 4: Betts 12 FP. Smith 10. Four ties, then a three-run fifth.
  • Nationals 8, Cardinals 5: Alvarez 22 FP. Four errors. Four runs in the 11th.
  • Braves 6, Astros 3: Acuña's slam. Houston out of first in the West.
  • Brewers 1, Orioles 0: Rogers 28 FP in a loss. Gasser 21 in the win. A fly ball in the sun.
  • What stood out

The pitcher board and the team board split again. Rogers and Bello tied at 28 FP in games their clubs lost 1-0 and 2-1. Gasser won the 1-0 and sat fourth. Alvarez threw six scoreless and still needed extras. Tarik Skubal got the win in a 10-4 and scored 0 pitching FP after four earned in five innings.

The hitter board rewarded the two-homer return and the record night. Martínez and Walton both did their damage in the same 12-6. Betts piled extra-base hits without a homer. Acuña's slam sat behind a 1-for-2 from Vargas. Schultz leaked onto the hitter feed before the filter. That is the version of Saturday the recaps followed, plus the 1-0 the team table would have skipped.
