AthX Top Pitchers, Hitters & Team Scores (September 15, 2026)

A 10-1 in Toronto, a fourth Central crown, and seven scoreless after two walks

September 15, 2026 was a 15-game Tuesday. The Detroit Tigers scored four in the fourth and won 10-1 in Toronto. Yoshinobu Yamamoto walked the first two Cincinnati hitters, then retired 21 of the next 22 in a 4-0. The Milwaukee Brewers clinched a fourth straight National League Central title. Cole Carrigg went 4-for-5 with two homers and ended San Diego's eight-game streak.

That is the board: a team table Detroit owned with 22 FP, a pitcher table Yamamoto owned with 29, and a hitter table that started at Coors Field.

9Cleveland Guardians117-6Travis Bazzana homered twice; Rocchio's two-run double in the ninth (ESPN)
10Los Angeles Dodgers114-0Dodgers at Reds

Detroit sits first because a 10-1 fills a team table the way a 4-0 does not. San Francisco's 10-3 is second. New York and Colorado tied at 18. Four clubs sat at 12, including Milwaukee's clincher and Baltimore's 11-inning game. Yamamoto's Dodgers finished 10th at 11 FP and still owned the pitcher board. That split is the night.

Yamamoto at 29 FP is the card, and it came in a 4-0 after two first-inning walks. Perkins threw 6 2/3 scoreless (one unearned) and still took a no-decision in a 2-1 Athletics loss. Fried's first win since April sat third. Jax threw five scoreless out of the Tampa Bay bullpen in a 2-1 walk-off. Misiorowski's 18 FP came on clinch night and did not lead the pitcher board. The ranking is the line. It is not the trophy.

Carrigg took the hitter board on a 4-for-5 with two homers. Peña hit two early in a 4-2 Houston win. Torkelson's three-run shot opened Detroit's 10-1. Nate Lavender's 12.66 FP as a Mets reliever (1 2/3 innings, four strikeouts) was filtered off this table. The hitter board is for bats.

Six featured games from Tuesday

  • Tigers 10, Blue Jays 1: Detroit led teams at 22 FP. Torkelson 13. Anderson 16 pitching FP in five scoreless.
  • Giants 10, Cardinals 3: San Francisco at 20 team FP. Eldridge 11, Hill 10 and his first homer. Tidwell 16.66.
  • Yankees 8, Twins 1: Fried at 23 pitching FP, his first win since April. Bellinger 9. Jones's 10th homer.
  • Rockies 9, Padres 3: Carrigg 16 FP. Feltner 18. An eight-game Padres streak ended at Coors.
  • Brewers 5, Pirates 1: Misiorowski 18 FP. Five scoreless. A fourth straight NL Central title.
  • Dodgers 4, Reds 0: Yamamoto at 29 FP. Seven scoreless, one hit, after walking the first two.
  • What stood out

The pitcher board and the team board split again. Yamamoto led everyone in a 4-0 that ranked 10th among teams. Perkins threw 6 2/3 scoreless in a loss. Jax put five scoreless relief innings on a 2-1. Misiorowski clinched a division and sat eighth.

The hitter board rewarded the 4-for-5 and the two-homer nights. Carrigg did both, and Colorado won. Peña and Alvarez stacked Houston's 4-2 and did not take the team table. Mayo's inside-the-park homer won Baltimore's game in 11 and sat seventh among hitters. Nate Lavender leaked onto the hitter feed at 12.66 before the filter. That is the version of Tuesday the recaps followed, plus the 4-0 the team table would have skipped.
