AthX Top Pitchers, Hitters & Team Scores (April 3, 2026)

MLB team and player AthX Engine fantasy points April 3 2026 at getathx.com

The lead

Full Friday slate—no excuses. ESPN’s board had the whole league moving, and AthX Engine had Aaron Judge pacing every bat at 13 hitting fantasy points. Bryan Woo led the arms at 27 for Seattle. Shohei Ohtani stacked 8 hitting FP in the Dodgers13–6 road win at Washington (recap). Jeffrey Springs fired 24 pitching FP in Oakland’s 11–4 win over Houston (recap). Team fantasy peaked with L.A. at 23. Brewers–Royals got rained out—makeup April 4 (scoreboard).

Hot take

Coors, comebacks, and crooked innings—Friday didn’t do “quiet.” If you only read ERA, you missed half the story. AthX Engine is where the leverage swings show up in one place.

How we ranked Friday

Pitchers and hitters on separate ladders—same split as March 26. When Ohtani only hits, he’s judged like every other bat that night.

4New York Mets2010–3 at GiantsFifteen hits (box)
5Minnesota Twins1910–4 vs. RaysSeven-run seventh (box)

How to read it: Double-digit run totals for the winner spike team FP—lots of runs scored, not many allowed back.

Who popped

Dodgers (23 team FP): Ohtani and Mookie Betts lit the fuse after Washington jumped ahead; AthX Engine had them at 8 and 9 hitting FP. Phillies (22 team FP): Marsh’s first-inning homer set the tone; Aaron Nola dropped 23.33 pitching FP at Coors. Athletics (21 team FP): Butler and Muncy in a six-run fourth—Houston’s pen blinked.

Why the arm board can look “stacked” at the top

When Woo, Springs, Nola, and Valdez all land near the top, it’s usually because length, strikeouts, and damage control lined up the way AthX Engine rewards starters—different styles, same outcome: the box score loves their night.

Around the horn (April 3)

Full card Friday means you’re not stuck with one narrative. Seattle had Woo setting the tone. Oakland had Springs quieting a tough lineup. Philadelphia brought Nola to Coors and lived to tell the tale. Los Angeles (NL) had Ohtani doing Ohtani things in a 13–6 road win. Detroit had Valdez anchoring the night the Tigers needed a veteran line. And that’s before you get to the Mets, Twins, and the makeup chaos elsewhere—Friday doesn’t do “small.”

Eye test vs. AthX Engine

If you watched a game and thought “this pitcher passed the test,” scroll the pitching fantasy row—AthX Engine is the receipt. If you thought “this offense feels scary,” check the team FP column: double-digit run lines for the winner almost always spike the club score because runs move the team formula fast.
