AthX Top Pitchers, Hitters & Team Scores (April 29, 2026)

The lead

Wednesday, April 29, 2026 gave AthX Engine a 13-game completed MLB board, with two postponements moving to April 30. The daily fantasy story started with two loud road blowouts: the Washington Nationals scored 14 at Citi Field, and the Colorado Rockies scored 13 at Great American Ball Park.

Washington led the team board with 29 AthX Engine team FP after a 14-2 win over the Mets. Gavin Williams led pitchers with 29.66 AthX Engine pitching FP after 7 2/3 dominant innings for Cleveland. Hunter Goodman led hitters with 17 AthX Engine hitting FP after a two-homer night for Colorado.

Daily fantasy output is not the same thing as share-price movement. AthX markets still run through dynamic pricing, trader demand, and the bigger performance arc.

From the Wednesday card

  • **Nationals 14, Mets 2:** Brady House's first career grand slam and Curtis Mead's four-hit night pushed Washington to No. 1.
  • **Rockies 13, Reds 2:** Hunter Goodman led all hitters with two homers and 17 AthX Engine hitting FP.
  • **Blue Jays 8, Red Sox 1:** Toronto won its third straight series behind Brandon Valenzuela, Ernie Clement, and a huge Braydon Fisher escape.
  • **Diamondbacks 6, Brewers 2:** Nolan Arenado's three-run homer erased Milwaukee's early lead.
  • **Athletics 5, Royals 2:** Luis Severino struck out eight over seven innings while Lawrence Butler supplied the big swing.
  • **Mariners 5, Twins 3:** Cole Young tied it in the seventh and won it with a two-run single in the ninth.
  • What stood out

The team board was unusually top-heavy. Washington and Colorado both crossed 25 team FP because their offenses kept scoring after the game had already tilted. Toronto had the cleaner balanced win, while Arizona and Oakland produced strong player signals without needing double-digit runs.

The pitcher board had two different shapes at the top. Williams led the slate by missing bats and avoiding walks, while Eovaldi shut down the Yankees in a lower-scoring game that did not make the six recap cut. Severino gave the Athletics the best recap-game pitching line, and Skubal's top-five finish shows how AthX Engine can still recognize a starter even when his team loses late.

    What now?

For AthX traders, Apr. 29 created three watch groups. The blowout bats are Goodman, Mead, House, and Wood. The pitcher group is Williams, Eovaldi, Severino, and Pallante. The momentum names are Young, Valenzuela, Arenado, and Kurtz, because each came with a larger story than one box-score line.

The two postponed games, Giants-Phillies and Braves-Orioles, move to Apr. 30 and belong to the next slate, not this leaderboard.
