Yamamoto at 27 FP is the card. A 14-1 with 10 strikeouts is a different conversation from everyone else's five or six innings. Warren and Henderson both sit at 20 after one-run starts in wins. Pallante threw five innings of one-run ball and still lost when San Francisco scored six in the eighth. Eisert's 2 1/3 hitless innings with five strikeouts is why a relief line can outrank a starter on this board.

Merrill's 20 FP is not a close race. A two-homer, six-RBI night that also includes a triple is why AthX Engine scoring cares about extra bases, not only the long ball. Lopez and Morel tied at 12 in the same 15-14 game and still sit behind him. Contreras' 15th homer was also the 100th of his career. Chourio's 23rd is a career high.

What stood out
Yamamoto's 27 FP and Merrill's 20 FP are the two clean boards. One is seven innings in a rout. The other is a near-cycle in 95-degree heat. The Mets-Marlins game is the one that will get rewatched: 8-0, 8-8, 15-9, 15-14.
The pitcher table also has a reminder. Warren struck out eight in a 6-1 win and still sits behind Yamamoto. Henderson allowed one unearned run and watched Milwaukee almost give away an 8-1 lead in the ninth. Pallante's 12 FP came in a loss. Team wins and pitcher boards are related. They are not the same list.
