Leadoff blast, then another in the second
July 27, 2026 – Arlington – Joc Pederson led off the game with a homer to left-center. Randy Arozarena tied it in the second. Pederson answered immediately with a three-run shot to right.
Ezequiel Duran and Jake Burger went deep in the third. Kumar Rocker (4-8) struck out seven over 6 2/3. And the Texas Rangers beat the Seattle Mariners 7-3 to take three of four, per the Associated Press.
George Kirby (8-9) took the loss. Texas, the only AL West club over .500, stretched its division lead to 2½ games. Pederson’s eight-game hitting streak stayed alive. Four Rangers homers decided the afternoon before Seattle could climb back.
Pederson and Rocker set the pace
