Monday the 24th ended a skid. Lile drove in five and homered in the eighth. Tuesday he went deep again in a 3-1 loss. Thursday he answered Colorado's 13-run night with a 3-for-4 and his 18th of the year. Monday the 31st was the closer: two homers, four RBI, and the 20th of his season on a go-ahead shot in the seventh.
Aug 23 in Miami was a double and nothing louder. Aug 26 was an 0-for-3 in a 13-1 hole. The window still has those nights in it. 66 is the sum, not a highlight reel.
Why 66 is the breakout number
A Nationals outfielder leading a set that also includes a Cubs heater is the point. Chicago had the run differential and the 19-2 and 17-3 nights. Lile had the individual window. Five homers in that stretch will do that on a scoring card that pays extra bases and RBI.
Do not mash the labels. 66 is Aug 23–Sep 1 Engine. It is not 2026 YTD Engine. If you want the live season stamp, open the player page and read whatever AthX Engine has there today.
