Tampa Bay took the 3-2 lead. Rasmussen owned the night.
October 18, 2026 was one game, and it belonged to a starter who finished the seventh this time. The Tampa Bay Rays beat the Cleveland Guardians 3-1 at Progressive Field. Drew Rasmussen threw seven innings and one earned. Chandler Simpson doubled, stole, and scored. Tampa Bay leads the ALCS 3-2.
That is the table: Tampa Bay first at 8 team FP, Cleveland second at -2. Rasmussen sat first among pitchers at 24. Simpson sat first among hitters at 6.
Top team fantasy scores (Sunday, October 18, 2026)
| Rank | Team | AthX Engine FP | Final | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Tampa Bay Rays | 8 | 3-1 | Rays vs Guardians |
| 2 | Cleveland Guardians | -2 | 1-3 | 5 H, 0 XBH (ESPN) |
Tampa Bay sits first because three runs, one against, and a win still score. Cleveland sits second at -2 because one run, three against, and a loss do that math. Sunday was not a six-game card. It was ALCS Game 5.

| 8 | Hunter Gaddis | Guardians | 1.66 | 1.2 IP, 0 ER, 1 H, 0 K, 1 BB |
Rasmussen sat first because seven innings, one earned, six strikeouts, and a quality start (six innings and three earned or fewer) own a one-game card. Baker sat second on a scoreless save. Wells sat third on one batter, one strikeout, José Ramírez with a runner on. Parker Messick took the loss on two innings and two earned and did not make this list. Tim Herrin allowed the third Tampa Bay run and did not make it either.

| 2 | Yandy Díaz | DH | Rays | 5 | 3-for-5, 1 2B, 1 R |

| 8 | Jonny DeLuca | OF | Rays | 1 | 0-for-3, 1 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SO |
Simpson sat first because a double, a steal, and the run that made it 3-0 are the same night. Díaz sat second on three hits after scoring on DeLuca's bases-loaded walk. Hicks sat third on the RBI single off Herrin. DeLauter's RBI was a groundout that scored Kwan. Pitchers were kept off this table. The hitter board is for bats.
One featured game from Sunday
What stood out
The team board belonged to the club that scored three in the first three innings and then leaned on seven innings of one-run ball. There was no National League game on Sunday. Milwaukee is already in the World Series. A 3-1 that puts an LCS at 3-2 outranks an empty slate. That is the ranking.
The pitcher board belonged to a quality start that finished the seventh after Game 1 had not. Rasmussen sat first at 24. Messick did not crack the top eight after two innings.
The hitter board belonged to a leadoff night that kept reaching: Simpson, Díaz, Hicks. Nobody homered. DeLuca's only RBI was a walk. That is the version of Sunday the recap followed: one game, no invented sixth recap.
What now?
Sunday's AthX Engine scores are a record of an ALCS Game 5. Tampa Bay hosts Game 6 on Monday. Freddy Peralta is lined up. Cleveland had not named a starter in the Associated Press recap. Use the board to compare nights, then check roles and news before you treat any number as more than production.
