Martinez sat first because 5 1/3 and one earned, plus the win, own a one-game card even without a quality start (six innings and three earned or fewer). Aranda sat first because three hits and the two RBI that made it 5-1 are the same night. Díaz sat second on the homer that made it 7-3 after three strikeouts. Bazzana sat third on the first postseason homer of his career and still finished in a loss. Caminero's go-ahead double sat at 1 because two strikeouts come with it. Pitchers were kept off this table. What stood out
The team board belonged to the club that scored seven after trailing 1-0. There was no National League game on Saturday. Milwaukee is already in the World Series. A 7-3 that ties an LCS outranks an empty slate. That is the ranking.
The pitcher board belonged to 5 1/3 in 46-degree weather, not the five-strikeout relief start that left with a 1-1. Martinez sat first. Griffin sat second. Espino did not crack the top 10 after two walks.
The hitter board belonged to a first baseman who had been 0-for-11 in the series when he singled in the third, then the two-run homer in the ninth. DeLauter's RBI single sat at 2 next to the error that the recap followed. That is the version of Saturday the recap followed: one game, no invented sixth recap.
