Five finals on Sunday. Nashville scored six at home. Dallas scored three in the third. Minnesota got Quinn Hughes to 500 in Vancouver. Florida needed 2:23 left. Montreal stole a Heritage Classic outdoors. AthX Engine (our projection and scoring system) scored every NHL box. We recapped every final. We did not invent extra games.
Top team fantasy scores
AthX Engine team points pay a win, half-credit for an overtime loss, then goals for and against. A 6-2 pays. A 2-1 outdoor win still pays. A regulation loss that scores twice can sit on the floor.
| Rank | Team | Score | AthX Engine FP |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Nashville Predators | 6-2 vs COL | 23.20 |
| 2 | Dallas Stars | 6-3 vs NYI | 22.20 |
| 3 | Minnesota Wild | 4-2 at VAN | 18.80 |
| 4 | Florida Panthers | 3-2 at CHI | 16.60 |
| 5 | Montreal Canadiens | 2-1 at WPG | 15.40 |
| 6 | Chicago Blackhawks | 2-3 vs FLA | 1.40 |
| 7 | New York Islanders | 3-6 at DAL | 0.60 |
| 8 | Vancouver Canucks | 2-4 vs MIN | 0.40 |
| 9 | Winnipeg Jets | 1-2 vs MTL | 0.20 |
| 10 | Colorado Avalanche | 2-6 at NSH | 0.00 |
Nashville owns the club night. All five winners are recapped. Colorado's 2-6 is the floor.
Top skaters
C, W, and D only. Goalies have their own table. Maxim Shabanov is unlinked.
| Rank | Player | Pos | Team | AthX Engine FP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Ryan O'Reilly | C | NSH | 17.00 |
| 2 | Steven Stamkos | C | NSH | 13.90 |
| 3 | Filip Forsberg | W | NSH | 11.30 |
| 4 | Jason Robertson | W | DAL | 10.80 |
| 5 | Roman Josi | D | NSH | 9.40 |
| 6 | Maxim Shabanov | W | MIN | 8.80 |
| 6 | Quinn Hughes | D | MIN | 8.80 |
| 8 | Wyatt Johnston | C | DAL | 8.20 |
| 9 | Tyler Seguin | C | DAL | 7.70 |
| 9 | Kirill Kaprizov | W | MIN | 7.70 |
O'Reilly's 17.00 is two power-play goals, two assists, and five shots in a 6-2. Stamkos is 13.90 with two goals, one of them off a review. Forsberg is 11.30. Robertson's 10.80 is two goals in a 6-3. Josi's 9.40 is three assists. Shabanov and Hughes share 8.80. Artturi Lehkonen sits at 7.50, just outside.
Top goalies
Win, 0.4 per save, minus 1.2 per goal against, plus 2 for a shutout, plus 0.5 for an overtime loss. Jacob Fowler, Justus Annunen, Leevi Merilainen, and Calvin Pickard are unlinked.
| Rank | Player | Team | AthX Engine FP |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Jacob Fowler | MTL | 15.00 |
| 2 | Spencer Knight | CHI | 8.40 |
| 3 | Akira Schmid | FLA | 8.20 |
| 3 | Justus Annunen | NSH | 8.20 |
| 5 | Leevi Merilainen | VAN | 7.20 |
| 6 | Calvin Pickard | MIN | 6.60 |
| 7 | Jake Oettinger | DAL | 6.20 |
| 8 | Ilya Sorokin | NYI | 5.60 |
| 9 | Stuart Skinner | WPG | 5.20 |
| 10 | Scott Wedgewood | COL | 4.40 |
Fowler's 33-save Heritage Classic is the skater-and-goalie night. It is recapped with Montreal's 15.40, not as a seventh file. Knight's 30-save loss outscores two winning lines because the save total is the card. Annunen's first win of the season is 8.20 on 19 saves.
Featured games
Sunday had five finals. These five are recapped.
What stood out
Three things.
First, the skater board is a Nashville power play. O'Reilly, Stamkos, Forsberg, and Josi are four of the top five. Robertson is the name that is not wearing gold.
Second, Fowler's 15.00 is the goalie night, and it happened in a football stadium. Montreal's team line is still fifth. A 2-1 pays less than a 6-2 even when the goalie owns the board.
Third, five games is five recaps. Nashville 23.20. Dallas 22.20. Minnesota 18.80. Florida 16.60. Montreal 15.40. Hughes hit 500 on a back-to-back. Eller scored with 2:23 left. We did not pad the slate.
Track the board on the marketplace. Fantasy points measure the box. Price is what traders will pay. They are not the same number.
