Two finals on Wednesday. Ottawa scored five after Brady Tkachuk opened his return. Philadelphia got a first road win on a kid's first two NHL goals. AthX Engine (our projection and scoring system) scored both boxes. We recapped both. We did not invent extra games.
Top team fantasy scores
AthX Engine team points pay a win, half-credit for an overtime loss, then goals for and against. A 5-1 pays. A 3-1 pays less. A regulation loss that scores once sits on the floor.
| Rank | Team | Score | AthX Engine FP |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Ottawa Senators | 5-1 vs FLA | 22.00 |
| 2 | Philadelphia Flyers | 3-1 at BUF | 17.60 |
| 3 | Buffalo Sabres | 1-3 vs PHI | 0.00 |
| 3 | Florida Panthers | 1-5 at OTT | 0.00 |
Ottawa owns the club night. Philadelphia is the other winner. Buffalo and Florida floor at 0.00. That is the whole Wednesday slate.
Top skaters

What stood out
Three things.
First, the skater board is a recall's first two NHL goals, then an Ottawa night that started 1-0 Florida. Knuble at 10.40. Halliday at 9.40. Stützle at 8.10. Tkachuk scored in the building that chanted at him and still sits 11th.
Second, the goalie board is a 27-save road win, then a 17-save win that ended in the tunnel. Vladar at 12.60. Ullmark at 8.60. Green told NHL.com the strain gets another look Thursday.
Third, two games is two games. Ottawa 22.00. Philadelphia 17.60. No extra recaps.
