Ravens 30, Falcons 23: Huntley Sneaks It, Hamilton Ends It

October 11, 2026 - Atlanta - Lamar Jackson stood on the sideline in street clothes. Tyler Huntley still had to cover 68 yards in overtime. Fourteen plays later he sneaked from the 1. Kyle Hamilton, who grew up here, then picked Tua Tagovailoa and the Baltimore Ravens walked out 4-1.

They beat the Atlanta Falcons 30-23 in overtime at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Atlanta is 2-3. Huntley filled in for Jackson's sprained left ankle and went 24 of 32 for 201 yards and two touchdown passes, plus the sneak. The Ravens said he completed his last 11 throws for 80 yards. ESPN had him 11 of 18 for 97 before the half and 13 of 14 for 104 after it.

Michael Penix Jr. started and went 19 of 32 for 240 yards and a 5-yard score to Kyle Pitts. He hurt a rib late in the fourth and did not return, the Falcons said. Tagovailoa is a Falcon in 2026. He took the overtime snaps, went 2 of 3 for 34 yards, and threw the interception that ended it.

Bates 36 yards the other way, then two 51-yarders

Tyler Loop opened from 21. 3-0. Jessie Bates scooped a fumble and ran 36. 7-3 Falcons. The Falcons called it the play that put them in front after three punts. Baltimore had held the ball for most of the first 21 minutes and still trailed.

Loop from 51 at 8:04 of the second. 6-7. Penix found Pitts from 5 at 2:24. 6-14. Loop from 51 again as the half expired. 9-14. Two 51-yarders. The Ravens were still looking up.

Nick Folk from 23 made it 9-17 in the third. Huntley then dumped an 18-yard screen to Derrick Henry. Henry scored. The two-point pass to Mark Andrews failed because Bates punched it down, the Falcons said. 15-17. Henry's receiving touchdown was his first since October 2024, Baltimore wrote. Justice Hill's 47-yard run had set the drive up.

Down eight, then Walker from 7, then overtime

Folk from 34 at 8:03 of the fourth. 15-20. Folk from 48 at 2:31. 15-23. Huntley's third-down throw to Andrews had already been broken up by Xavier Watts at 6:28, ESPN said, and Baltimore had to punt. The next chance did not get punted.

Huntley hit Devontez Walker from 7 with 40 seconds left. He targeted Mike Ford a play after Mike Hughes left hurt, ESPN said. Henry took a direct snap and ran left for two. 23-23. ESPN called it Baltimore's largest fourth-quarter comeback in a game Jackson did not start in 11 years.

Overtime was 14 plays and 68 yards. ESPN called it the NFL's longest overtime touchdown drive in eight years. Huntley converted third downs to Andrews and Zay Flowers, then scored on second-and-goal from the 1 at 2:57. Loop's extra point made it 30-23.

Tagovailoa's throw for Drake London did not get there. Hamilton intercepted it with about two minutes left in overtime, the Falcons said.

Henry to 102, London to 118, Penix to the tent

Henry ran 24 times for 102 and caught the 18-yard score. Flowers caught eight for 53. Rashod Bateman had five for 62, including 26 on the tying drive, the Ravens said. Andrews caught four for 28. Walker had two for 9 and the tying score. Huntley ran six times for 20 and the winner.

London caught seven for 118. Pitts had five for 42 and the touchdown. Bijan Robinson ran 17 times for 86 and caught four for 32. Brian Robinson Jr. added seven for 16. Folk was 3 of 3 from 23, 34, and 48. C.J. Henderson left with a groin injury, the Falcons said.

The Ravens said time of possession went in waves. Baltimore held the ball for just over 17 of the first 21 minutes and still trailed 7-6 after Atlanta's first three punts. The Falcons then held it more after the half until the overtime march, which ate 7:03. ESPN called Huntley's night the most clutch start of his seven-year career as a fill-in.

Jesse Minter told the room Saturday that no locker had more confidence in its backup than Baltimore had in Huntley, ESPN reported. Huntley then won his third straight start as a fill-in dating to 2025, the Ravens said. Jackson cheered in street clothes. The sneak still counted.
