Patriots 45, Raiders 17: Maye's Five Scores, Nobody Home

October 11, 2026 - Foxborough - The first throw of the afternoon found grass. DeMario Douglas was so open he could have fair-caught it. Drake Maye dropped it in from 35 anyway. 7-0, 11:23 left in the first. The Raiders never got the coverage back.

The New England Patriots beat the Las Vegas Raiders 45-17 at Gillette Stadium. New England is 3-2 after back-to-back wins. Las Vegas is 3-2 after the first time anyone held it under 25 points this season, per the Patriots. Maye went 26 of 34 for 374 yards, four scores, and a 3-yard run. No picks. A 150.9 rating. The Patriots piled up 536 yards, per the Boston Globe.

A.J. Brown and Mack Hollins did not play. Will Campbell (knee) and TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) left in the first half. The ball still found Douglas, Kyle Williams, Hunter Henry, Efton Chism III, and Eli Raridon.

14-7 after one, then a two-minute that stuck

Douglas's 35-yarder capped five plays and 79 yards. Las Vegas answered. Kirk Cousins found Brock Bowers. 7-7. The Patriots' second drive ate 11 plays. Maye scrambled 10 and took a shot on the left shoulder. He converted fourth down to Douglas. A 27-yard defensive pass-interference flag put them in the red zone. Rhamondre Stevenson finished from 5. 14-7, 1:30 left in the first. It was Stevenson's 30th career rushing score, per the club notes.

The second quarter waited for the two-minute drill. Maye hit Henry on back-to-back plays, the last from 11. 21-7 at the break. Maye was 11 of 15 for 160 and two scores. Stevenson had 9 carries for 57. Bowers already had four for 69 and the Raiders' only first-half touchdown.

Williams from 34, Maye from 3

The third quarter opened the way 2025 Maye used to open quarters. Williams beat Hezekiah Masses off the line. Maye dropped it over the top from 34. 28-7. Matt Gay answered from 46. 28-10.

Maye then kept it. Nine plays, 71 yards, a 31-yard ball to Raridon down the sideline, and a 3-yard stutter past Jeremy Chinn. 35-10. Kindle Vildor punched the ball out of Bowers's hands on what the Raiders called a 15-yard gain. The Globe credited Kevin Byard with the pop and Craig Woodson with the recovery at the New England 34. Andy Borregales converted a chip-shot field goal after Romeo Doubs could not finish third-and-goal. 38-10.

Dylan Laube scored from a yard. 38-17. Maye found Douglas again, this time from 8 with 6:00 left. 45-17. Fernando Mendoza, the 2026 No. 1 pick, played the last Raiders series: 6 of 8 for 48 yards, per the club wrap.

A short-handed room that still spread it

Williams caught all three targets for 91 and the 34-yarder. One of those was 49 yards. Douglas finished four for 65 and two scores. Chism had five for 57. Raridon had five for 57. Henry had three for 44 and the 11-yarder. Stevenson ran 13 times for 64 and the 5-yard plunge, plus three catches for 21. Corey Kiner added six carries for 52.

Cousins was 19 of 28 for 243, one score, three sacks. Bowers caught eight for 110 and the touchdown, then lost the fumble. Ashton Jeanty ran 10 times for 27 and caught three for 50. Tre Tucker had four for 41. Elijah Ponder had two sacks, two tackles for loss, and a forced fumble. Leonard Taylor III added a sack.

Maye called the day beautiful. He also said the first touchdown to Douglas came with enough time in the pocket to "eat a ham sandwich." Mike Vrabel talked about clean pockets and Kyle Williams running the next route after an offensive pass-interference flag. The Patriots snapped a three-game losing streak in this series. They are 2-0 at Gillette.

Track Maye, Stevenson, Bowers, Jeanty, and both clubs on the marketplace. The Jets visit New England on Oct. 18. Buffalo visits Las Vegas that afternoon.
