Seven zeros, then Busch finally woke up

He matched a season high with eight strikeouts over seven scoreless innings: two hits, one walk. St. Louis scratched a run, then exploded for six in the sixth. The St. Louis Cardinals beat the Cincinnati Reds 7-0, per the Associated Press.
Gordon Graceffo finished the last two innings. Hunter Greene (2-2) took the loss.
Six straight reached, then a squeeze
Iván Herrera’s two-run double snapped an 0-for-12 skid and opened the floodgates. Six straight Cardinals reached with one out in the sixth before Nathan Church’s safety squeeze scored Bryan Torres and made it 7-0.
That was the whole offensive story. Pallante had already done the hard part.
