AthX NHL Top 10: Lekkerimaki 12.90, Devils and Panthers 22.00

Eleven finals on Tuesday. New Jersey debuted Connor Hellebuyck in a 5-1. Florida's Tkachuks piled up seven points in Winnipeg. Vancouver scored twice with the extra attacker and won in overtime. AthX Engine (our projection and scoring system) scored every NHL box. We recapped the six highest team lines. Minnesota also landed at 17.60. Jacob Fowler's 23.40 in a 46-save shutout is the goalie gem just outside the cut. We did not invent a seventh recap.

Top team fantasy scores

AthX Engine team points pay a win, half-credit for an overtime loss, then goals for and against. A 5-1 pays. A 6-5 overtime still pays the winner. A regulation loss that scores once can sit on the floor.

New Jersey and Florida share 22.00. Columbus took the 17.80 tie over the Islanders on Kent Johnson's 12.20. Minnesota's 17.60 missed the recap cut. Fowler's shutout sits on a 16.40 club line, eighth among winners.

Hischier and Verhaeghe share 10.30. Kaprizov's 9.90 is a power-play goal and an assist in a 3-1 that did not make the recap six. Seth Jones sits at 9.30, just outside, with three assists in the 5-1.

Top goalies

Fowler's 46-save shutout is the goalie night and the gem outside the recap cut. The NHL recap said it was a career high, his second shutout of the season, and the third-most saves in a Canadiens shutout behind Jacques Plante (52) and Sam Montembeault (48). Ellis's 23-save shutout is 14.20. Askarov is 14.00 in a 2-0 loss. Hill's 25-save win is 11.80. Hellebuyck's debut is 8.60 on 17 saves. The Associated Press recap listed 16 on 17.

Tuesday had 11 finals. These six are recapped.

  • Devils 5, Stars 1

  • Golden Knights 4, Senators 1
  • Blue Jackets 4, Flyers 3
  • Islanders 4, Predators 3
  • What stood out

    Three things.

First, the skater board is a comeback in Anaheim. Lekkerimaki at 12.90. Boeser at 12.60. Vancouver was 5-2 down with 7:37 left and still owns the night.

Second, Fowler's 23.40 is the goalie line of the season so far on this slate, and it did not buy a recap. Montreal's team card is 16.40. The cut sat at 17.80.

Third, two 5-1s share 22.00. Hellebuyck's first start as a Devil. The Tkachuks' seven points in Winnipeg. Eleven games is six recaps. We did not pad the slate.
