Daccord's 33-save win is the night's top player line, 17 of those saves in the third per the NHL recap. Kochetkov is 9.00 on 18 saves and one goal against. Garand is 8.20 in the first start after Shesterkin's season-ending injury. No shutouts. No overtime losses.

What stood out
Three things.
First, the team board belongs to a 6-2 at the Garden. Kartye and Cuylle sit 1-1 on the skater table. The goalie table still belongs to Daccord, because 33 saves in a 5-3 pays more than 19 saves in a 6-2.
Second, Shesterkin is out for the year. Garand got the start and the win. That is the Rangers story. The box still paid 23.20 to the club.
Third, Philadelphia is 0-5-2. Carolina is 5-1-1. Those two facts sat in the same building for 60 minutes, and Aho's line scored the three that ended the wait.
